Hello and Welcome,

This year I'd like to try something different on my home page than just the standard Realtor blab, yada about my experience, homes solds, $$$ etc. You need to know more, buying and selling isn't quite the same as in the past! Times in this market are ever changing, such as what is a short sale vs a foreclosure and how does or will it help me?

Briefly speaking, I am a Realtor GRI and basically have been at it full time for 16 + years or be it the case  many moons. I feel I can add more than a bio going forward with these times. However, just in case..my bio!

I aim to provide enlightenment to you the reader, who is perhaps seeking answers which I plan to provide to keep you abreast of this surreal place of which we find ourselves in home ownership.  Some who are not aware of their options or remedies.  And that will be my niche this year! 

 At this critical and pivotal time in some of our lives, real estate as we know it has evolved, and we at least know of someone or we may be that someone who has either lost a home due to foreclosure, walked away from a home due to job loss, being upside down etc. Yes, the market has changed drastically.  The middle class finds that there is no middle in most instances with upside down  mortgages and can't realize their dreams of moving into a new home while the one they are lingering in order to move forward can't be sold without some detriment to their future credit or the impact on their lives in just paying the note.  It is frustrating! However, on the flip side I find that there are more scams and so much misinformation out there contributing to short sales, foreclosures and credit repair scams that I have decided to blog experiences and provide updates.  In the internet world if you don't know what a Realtor is by now, well that makes me either obsolete or quite common. I'd prefer to be outside the box.

What I find people want are resources, seriously check this out,, property taxes, loan mods, etc. what effects you are solutions which I stay abreast of or either trained in, or find the authorities I give kudos to from bloggers to experts, I give you the info, you discern what helps you.

Question such as what really is a short sale, what happens in a foreclosure, what programs are available to me, what FHA programs, what is HAMP, HAFA, loan mods, how do we change and our ideas count, bankruptcy or short sale? etc.  I am providing the above resources' page and eventually a vendor page to keep you up to date as to what is new and available from all facets of this industry. It is up to you to follow up with your independent research.

This market in which some of perhaps find ourselves, is an equal opportunity blight.  Whether you're fighting for crumbs or caviar,  it's real and unemployment and debt transcends, trickles down and hurts everyone. Let's face it, your home may not be worth what you paid for now. Lost all your equity. However, don't give up!!  America WILL BOUNCE back!  To wield knowledge is the greatest gift a true professional can give in these times, hey it's a different market for me as well, but I do see a light at the end of this ever winding tunnel. 

 If we don't as a society fight together to change the housing industry instead of this free fall we are currently in, we will give up the American Dream of owning a home and become a nation of renters. Let's explore the tools to avoid that and stay on Congress and the Department of HUD to "NOT" let that happen!

I may have to refer you to an attorney, your tax accountant but give me a shot at it, if I don't know I will find out!!  However, I am not an attorney nor a CPA or Lender, seek their individual advice, should you need it.
